Ingredients
1 medium beetroot, peeled and chopped
1-inch fresh ginger root, peeled
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3/4 cup cold water
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash and peel the beetroot and ginger.
2. Chop into small chunks.
3. Add all ingredients to a blender or juicer.
4. If blending, strain the juice through a mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
5. Stir, serve cold, and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For stronger detox benefits, drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Add mint or cucumber for flavor variations.
Store in the fridge up to 48 hours in a sealed glass jar.
