Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup milk (whole, oat, almond, or pistachio milk)
  • Optional toppings: crushed pistachios, whipped cream, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. To make the pistachio syrup: Blend pistachios into a fine crumb.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and pistachios. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Strain the syrup and let it cool. Store in the fridge for up to one week.
