- 1–2 shots of espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup milk (whole, oat, almond, or pistachio milk)
- Optional toppings: crushed pistachios, whipped cream, cinnamon
Instructions
- To make the pistachio syrup: Blend pistachios into a fine crumb.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and pistachios. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain the syrup and let it cool. Store in the fridge for up to one week.

- Froth the milk using a frother, French press, or by shaking in a jar and microwaving briefly.
- In a mug, add 1–2 tablespoons of pistachio syrup, then pour in the espresso and stir.
- Top with steamed milk and foam. Garnish with optional toppings if desired.
