4 fresh strawberries

2 teaspoons sugar (or honey/maple syrup)

¾ cup milk (or plant-based milk)

1½ teaspoons matcha powder

4 tablespoons hot water

Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Mash strawberries with sugar until juicy or blend and strain if smoother texture is preferred.

2. Add strawberry mixture to bottom of a tall glass.

3. Add ice on top of strawberries.

4. Pour milk slowly over the ice.

5. Sift matcha powder into a bowl, add hot water, and whisk until frothy.

7. Serve immediately or stir gently.
