A chewy, sweet, and salty homemade vegan Snickers bar made with dates, nuts, and dark chocolate—no baking required.

Ingredients

1 cup medjool dates (pitted)

1/2 cup almond flour

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp maple syrup

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk

1/3 cup roasted peanuts

1/2 cup vegan dark chocolate chips

1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

1. Blend dates, almond flour, maple syrup, and vanilla until it forms a dough.

2. Press dough into a lined loaf pan to form base layer.

3. Blend more dates with peanut butter and coconut milk to make caramel.

4. Spread caramel over base and press in roasted peanuts.

5. Melt chocolate and coconut oil together.

6. Pour chocolate over top layer.

7. Chill for 1 hour or until firm.

8. Slice and serve.

Notes

Store in the fridge up to 7 days or freeze up to 2 months.

Let thaw a few minutes before eating for best texture.
